ANY OTHER MORNING (2014)
McNeill & Heys' fourth studio album forged from fresh sounds, stories and exciting new instrumental textures. Producer Calum Malcolm captures here the very essence of the duo, and the rare, dynamic magic between. Any Other Morning is a bold exploration of musical landscapes; come on a journey from the deepest Lakeland valley to the places where buzzards soar and foxes creep through the city dawn.

THE NORTHERN ROAD (2010)
Bucking the trend of the current crop of young folk musicians by not doing traditional songs, but specialising in Jack's highly individual, very personal, but, somehow, universal songs. In the intervening period since theirr debut, they have honed their act and Charlie's perfectly judged fiddle accompaniments have become even more integrated. There's a superb degree of mutual understanding between them which shines through on the new album. Jack writes emotionally-charged intelligent lyrics and Charlie's deft empathic fiddle accompaniment adds up to a very satisfying whole.

LIGHT UP ALL THE BEACONS (2008)
Jack McNeill & Charlie Heys are a young acoustic duo whose reputation is beginning to spread. They are bucking the trend of young folk musicians at the moment by not doing traditional material, but specialising in Jack's highly individual, very personal, songs. Already comparisons are being drawn with the enigmatic Nick Drake, but Jack's influences are far more ride-ranging than that. Both are currently studying Classical music at the Birmingham Conservatoire - which bucks the trend even more! - but their approach is firmly planted in the roots/acoustic genre. They were finalists in last year's BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Awards.
